Rimbaud: The Theatre of Words, a commentary
A new original commentary on Rimbaud's poetry is now available online here, exploring Rimbaud's tumultuous adolescence, his revolutionary approach to language, and his influence on subsequent literary movements.
The extended essay covers Rimbaud's complete poetic endeavour, and sets out to analyze and explain key elements of his early verse and his later prose-poems. Poems mentioned in the text are hyperlinked to their translations on the website, so that the reader may examine his verse (in English version) while following the details of the commentary.
