MEDITATIONS ON THE DIVINE COMEDY  

OF DANTE ALIGHIERI

 

These Meditations consider the concepts and intentions behind the Divine Comedy, by means of a continuous reflection and commentary on the individual Cantos. They are provided with a concept index, and the text is hyper-linked to the concept index, to the complete prose translation of the Divine Comedy itself, and to its associated name index. 

 

The Meditations may be browsed on-line or downloaded. The download contains a complete copy of the translation and its index files as well as the commentary. All files should be unzipped to the same local directory.

 

When following hyper-links use the back-button on your browser or the back-arrow on WORD to return to the text you started from. You should also bookmark this page as a Favourite in your browser. This will allow you to return from anywhere in the text or indices when browsing on-line and avoid you getting lost!!
