# Poetry in Translation

> A. S. Kline's open-access poetry archive, offering free, modern English translations of classic poetry and prose from Latin, Greek, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, English and other languages, alongside original poetry and critical essays. The majority of works and translations may be freely used for any non-commercial purpose.

The archive contains complete translations of major works — each work has a home page linking to its individual books or sections, and most are also available as free e-book downloads (PDF, EPUB, MOBI). The site is operated by Poetry in Translation Ltd; a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16235918) with ICO registration reference ZB865880. Translations are © A. S. Kline unless otherwise stated, and also unless otherwise, released for non-commercial use with attribution (see the copyright statement below).
